The 💯 Digest: My team sent an email behind my back and it was a banger.

+ an actual stack to go from idea to launch (like we just did)

👋 Hey, it's Max

So on Tuesday, we announced that we’re going all-in on AI.

A few hours after posting on LinkedIn, I sent an investor update by email (we don’t have investors), but here’s why I did it anyway.

Minutes later, I got an email with the subject line "don't tell Max we sent this 🤫” and my heart rate jumped. My team sent it to help support the announcement for 30DaysOfAI and get YOU involved.

The email got an overwhelming response. Hundreds of replies, DMs, and WhatsApp messages from people who loved it. Some, like Benjamin didn’t believe us, Dru thought it was a banger... and sorry for the jump scare, Chelsea.

But yeah.. to answer Benjamin, they really didn’t tell me.. 👇

We often talk about the “permissionless” approach in our team, and it turns out sending an email behind your CEO's back works.

Some of the stats from the first 24 hours:

💯 1,000+ signups
🖱️ 8%+ Click Through Rate
😰 2 near heart attacks
🔁 Returning subs: 765+
❤️ 100+ replies saying "IM IN!!!"

In 24 hours, 765 of you came BACK. We are super grateful for that!

Window Into the Future 🚀

So what happens when 765+ people come back?

They bring stories. Like Jennifer's Microsoft tool saving $2M. Like Danko calling our first challenge "pivotal to my career." Or Murray who built an AI Agency for homebuilders. These aren't just nice messages but proof that what we're building works. Which brings us to September 18th...

30DaysOfAI begins

September 18th: Day 1 of the challenge drops
October 18th: You'll be operating completely differently

Here's what past participants are saying. You can find plenty more at the bottom of the page here

Tool Tour Special Edition: Launch Stack

Before you go, the team and I are so grateful for the overwhelming support we received from you during our launch. So instead of a list of tools, here’s an actual stack you can use to go from idea to launch (like we just did).

With this stack, you can build your idea, find potential customers, all the way to getting exposure and your first sale.

🚀 Create your app or website with Anything
🤖 Use Team-GPT as your AI companion
🔍 Find potential customers on Reddit with GummySearch
📣 Find creators and journalists with Media.ai
💸 Launch and get your first sale on Microlaunch

  • Anything: Got an idea you want to build? If you’ve ever tried AI coding, you may have noticed how the output often has bugs, or the design feels a bit stuck in the past. After trying most other tools, Anything is the first one that actually felt good. You can build a great app or website in no time. Pro tip: find a site with a style you like, drop the link or screenshots in the chat, and add “style it like this.

  • Team-GPT: Now, once you’ve got the skeleton of your project, you need help shaping it. That’s where Team-GPT slides in. It’s like having one giant shared brain for you and your team. It actually remembers your brand guidelines, projects, and files. You can hook it up to Notion, Google Drive, and more. And everyone on the team can tap into the best models (GPT-5, Claude, Gemini).

  • GummySearch: Alright, your product’s shaping up but now you need to know if people actually want it. Enter Reddit = free market research. The place where people spill their problems, roast your competitors, and ask for solutions. GummySearch finds those threads for you, sums it all up, and shows you where to jump in. Bonus: when you join those convos, over time it could help your brand show up in AI search results (ChatGPT, etc).

  • Media.ai: Okay, so now you want some attention. If you want to get some PR coverage or reach out to creators, this tool makes it really easy. You can find journalists or creators with various filters like topics, categories, job titles, etc. The best part is that you get their email, so you can easily reach out.

  • Microlaunch: Last step: launch. Except maybe you don’t have a massive Twitter following or a big email list. That’s fine. This is where small projects go to find their first users. You can put your idea out there, get early feedback, and even land your first sale. A safe place to test, learn, and grow.

🪄 Until Next Time…

Drop me a reply if you have any Q’s 😊

PS: If you haven’t already, you should come along for the ride and join 30DaysOfAI.

Cheers!

Max 👋
